Calendula Salve for Healing
Calendula Salve was first used during the Civil War as the only field dressing available to doctors serving with the troops. It was used through the wars, even into the start of WWII.
It is a simple remedy made from infusing calendula flowers with coconut oil and a little beeswax. Can be used to help heal wounds, burns, bug bites (and helps the itch), and scars. Coconut oil is also a helpful healer for the skin.
A very handy product to keep on hand.
