TINCTURE OF NETTLES  (available in an alcohol or glycerine base)

Nettle (also known as Stinging Nettle) through extensive study has shown promise in treating Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, asthma, bladder infections, bronchitis, bursitis, gingivitis, gout, hives, kidney stones, laryngitis, multiple sclerosis, PMS, prostate enlargement and some prostate diseases, sciatica, and tendonitis. Nettle, due to its anti-inflamatory and anti-histamine properties help to eliminate histamine that is produced by the body in response to allergens.  Allergies, especially hayfever, may benefit from the use of Nettles tincture.

Did you know that Calendula Salve was one of the only available field dressings during the Civil War and was even used by doctors during World War I?  Its many uses help heal minor wounds, burns, bruises, and cuts and fight the minor infections that they cause. A very effective treament for bee stings, insect bites and rashes and can be rubbed into sore muscles. It is very gentle to the skin and is ideal for baby skin care needs.
