BECAUSE WE DON'T USE:

 

NO Diethanolamine (DEA) or Triethanolamine (TEA) which are commonly used as emulsifiers and foaming agents.  They can irritate the eyes and dry out skin. They degrade when exposed to air into nitrosoamines, which are toxic to the cardiovascular system, digestive tract and lungs.

 

NO Diazolidinyl Urea, a preservative which inhibits bacteria growth.  This product can cause dermatitis and release other toxic chemicals.

 

NO Dyes, or synthetics like Red 3 and Yellow 5.

 

NO Fragrances, which are hidden chemicals.

 

NO Mineral oils or other comedogenic oils, derived from petroleum; that clog pores and dissolve our own natural oils, causing chapped skin.

 

NO Parabens, because they mimic estrogen and cause long term damage to cells, potentially causing cancer.

 

NO PEGs (Polyethylene Glycol Ethers), the synthetic polymers used in caustic sprays for oven cleaners. They can alter your skin’s natural moisture, and increase the appearance of aging and vulnerability to bacteria.
